WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND another triumph for a superb team. I can do no better than quote from the review in April's Gudgeon - 'I am watching the culmination of months of hard work by the Bradfordians production of 'Whistle Down the Wind'. The final scenes are spellbinding as Jesus or The Man, depending on your point of view, disappears. I recall watching the film, many years ago, with Hayley Mills and Alan Bates and thinking it was one of the most depressing films I'd ever sat through.

This production by Phil Courage with music by Kate and Felicity Courage was in a different league, it was funny, charming and poignant. ……………

The dedication and sheer talent of everyone concerned in this production has to be applauded. It was a fantastic production and I can't wait to see more.'

Particular thanks are due to Pippa Lauder who, having rehearsed as understudy, had to step into the very demanding role of Cathy when Rosa Robson became ill - well done indeed.

 

Suitable for all the family this powerful, moving, musical drama has lots of parts for all ages.
not all parts need a good singing voice

Children's rehearsals will start immediately but rehearsals for adults will not start immediately. Please note rehearsals for this production will be on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS.
