The Bradfordians Dramatic Society is an energetic, enthusiastic group of people dedicated to achieving the highest standards of productions for the enjoyment and entertainment of the people of Bradford-on-Avon and the surrounding areas.

Normally we put on three productions each year. In the autumn we perform a play at St. Laurence School, a venue very suited to our needs with a well-equipped stage, an auditorium which can seat up to 200 and good dressing room and  foyer facilities.

During the February half-term we devote our energies to performing a show with children very much in mind. This may be a pantomime, musical, or a children’s play, usually involving plenty of young people in the cast and lots of singing and dancing.

One of our most successful ventures has been the introduction of our outdoor productions. We are extremely fortunate in having several outstandingly beautiful gardens in and around Bradford-on Avon. These have provided the backdrop for a number of the plays of Skakespeare and other works which lend themselves to this type of presentation. We also have used our famous and historic Tithe Barn for some unforgettable theatrical experiences.

Interested? We are always delighted to welcome new members, either onstage or to help with the many tasks that go on behind the scenes essential putting on a first class production.
